Navy EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal)
US Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal ( EOD ) technicians from EOD 2 prepare for deployment to combat. EOD two-man teams typically accompany Navy SEALs and Army "Green Berets" on combat operations. Less well-known, these EOD sailors are normally as well-trained and as phyically fit as the other members of the team. Their role on the mission is to deal with IEDs, booby-traps, and mines that the patrol or unit encounters.
